INTERPROGRAM: BOLIVIA - CHILE - ARGENTINA - PERU

AND MT ACONCAGUA (6.959 m) OJOS DEL SALADO (6.915 m)

Mt. Aconcagua (6.959 m), the highest elevation in America, is located on the western side of the Chile - Argentina border in the province of Mendoza, all our first expeditions which were carried out have been successes. Mendoza province is located at the foot of the Argentinean; Andes its capital city the beautiful city of Mendoza (pop. 1 million) is know as the city "City of good sun and good wine" "Mendocinos" are Hard working people, proud of their Italian and Spanish ancestry. Mendoza is one of the most beautiful cities in America, and offers first class hotels, the best restaurant and supermarket.

SCHEDULE:
DAY 01:
Reception at the Mendoza International airport T-IN hotel.
DAY 02: Meeting with ministry of Tourism in order to get permission to climb Mt. Aconcagua. Night Hotel.
DAY 03: Departure at 07:00 am from Mendoza and journey by vehicle transport to Puente del Inca (the Inca bridge) which is at (2.726 m. above sea level); total activity in vehicle 4 hours, then on foot on to Confluencia (3.368 m), hiking activity 5 hours at the night camping.
DAY 04: Day trek and hike to Plaza de Mulas Superior (Mulas square) at 2.220 m. The base camp activity on foot 8–9 hours. Night Camping.
DAY 05: Acclimatisation day at the base camp. Night Camping.
DAY 06: Ascent to the base camp I Nido de Condores (5.500 m), there we will keep on the high mountain material and equipment; go up, activity 5–6 hours, next descent to the base camp at Plaza de Mulas Superior, down activity 3 hours. Night camping
DAY 07: Rest day at base camp. Night Camping.
DAY 08: Ascent to high camp I Nido de Cóndores, up hike activity, 5–6 hours camping.
DAY 09: Rest day camping. Night Camping.
DAY 10: Ascent to the high camp II (6.000 m), up high activity 4 hours. Night Camping.
DAY 11: Ascent to the summit of Mt. Aconcagua (6.959 m.) and return to the high camp I – Nido de Cóndores, total activity 12 hours. Night Camping.
DAY 12: Descent to the base camp and on the Plaza de Mulas down hike, activity 3 ½ hours. Night Camping.
DAY 13: Rest day at the base camp. Night Hotel.
DAY 14: Descent to Puente del Inca. Night Hosteria
DAY 15: Morning: Return journey to Mendoza. Afternoon free. Night Hotel
DAY 16: Transfer T–OUT airport –hotel to board fight and end of our services.

Note.- Each member of the expedition must be able to carry his baggage by himself.

VERY IMPORTANT:
In case that your climbing choice is by way of the polish route, you most indicate so at the times of your reservation:
MAIN POINT
- It is strongly advised that member of the expedition by fully equipped with the following items / Rucksack 50 Ltr / Climbing plastic boots / Crampons / Ice axe / ice pick / Harness / Pairs of waterproof gaiters / A pairs of prussic / Feather sleeping bag able to withstand temperatures –20oC for altitude site / Light sleeping bag for tropical sites / Respective mat and insulated pad / Cold protective jacket / gore-tex Rain and wind jacket / anorak / Rain and cold protective pants / Snow stick / Several pairs of good cold protective / wool socks / Good cold protective gloves / Good wool scarf / Sun and cold protective caps / Sun and cold / protective creams / A lamp with new batteries / Individual water bottles / Personal first aid kit / Warn clothing for altitude sites / Warn clothing for tropical sites / A small notebook.

IMPORTANT:
Each member of the expedition must have travel and health insurance.
UPON REQUEST: NORTHEASTHERN SIDE OR POLISH ROUTE
In case that your climbing choice is of the Polish route you most indicate so at the time your reservation.
We strongly advice that member of the high volcano expedition should have the complete following equipment.

- Rucksack 50 Lt / Good trekking boots / Mountain plastic boots / Snow sticks / Mountains or ski poles / Grampons, A simple harness, Two carabiners, Good warn clothing, Father sleeping gab able to withstand temperatures – 20 oC, Mat and insulated, Windbreaker, 2 pairs of gorotex globes, 3 pairs of wool socks, sun and cold protective, sun and cold protective creams, personal first aid kit, Individual water bottles, A small note book.

 

PLAN II

DAY 17: Departure from Santiago to Copiapo (Night Hotel).
DAY 18:
Departure and journey to the Murray shelter (4.600 m). Night Camping.
DAY 19: Acclimatisation hike day around the Verde lagoon (4.600 m). Night Camping.
DAY 20: Ascent to high camp I (5.000 m) .Universitario Shelter. Night shelter or camping.
DAY 21: Hike up to high camp II (5.800 m), Cesar tejon to spend the night camping.
DAY 22: Ascent to the summit of the Ojos del Salado Volcano (6.893 m), total activity 6-7 hours; descent to the Universitario Shelter for spending the night
DAY 23: Return journey to Copiap. Night Hotel.
DAY 24: MORNING: Free and rest day. AFTERNOON: Excursion to the vineyards of Copiapo. Night Hotel
DAY 25: Transfer T–OUT hotel – airport to board your flight and end of our services.

DURATION: PLAN I: 16 Days - 15 Nights PLAN II: 25 Days - 24 nigths
