HIGHLIGHTS-
BOLIVIA
The
southern high plateau of Bolivia, where native
aymara culture is still. Very much alive. La
Paz, the world is highest metropolis (4.000
m - 3.200 m), is the expedition is departure
point.
The
inhospitable region of South Lipez: The salt
flat of Uyuni with 10,500 Km. sq, and a thickness
of 130 m, is the world is largest natural lithium
reserve.
The
village of Jirira (4,000 m), located on Bolivia
is high plateau near the base of the Tunupa
Volcano, of Which are told beautiful and fantastic
legends.
The
beauty of the Siloli desert (4.200 m), the salty
lagoons of Canapa, Hedionda, Chiarkhota, Honda
and Ramadita inhabited by hundreds of flamingos;
the Colorada Lagoon (4.200 m), the Sol de Mañana
Geysers (4.400 m), and the Verde lagoon (4.600
m), and esmeralda at the feet of the Licancabur
Volcano.
Visit
to the wonderful Sajama National Park (4.500
m), located 350 Km. from La Paz, on the Chilean
border. It is the site of natural wonders and
old churches typical of Bolivia is high plateau.
CHILE
Ascents
in the volcanic range located between Bolivia
Chile, the highest volcanic cones on earth f6.000
m) and (6.880 m).
The
Atacama desert - the driest place on earth;
there you will find such natural wonders as
Valley in the Moon and the Tatio hot springs.
SCHEDULE:
DAY 01:
Arrival to El alto International airport (4.000
m), transfer T–IN airport–hotel
La Paz city (3.600 m). Night Hotel.
DAY 02:
City
tour (full day) visit Tiwanaku. Afternoon city
tour and Moon Valley. Night Hotel.
DAY 03:
Departure
from La Paz to Copacabana Village visits the
Intikala and the Orca del Inca. Night Hotel.
DAY 04:
Morning
excursion to Titikaka lake, visiting Sun and
Moon Islands. Return to La Paz. Night Hotel.
DAY 05: Journey
the Jirira (3.800 m), arrival to the salt flat
Uyuni (3.600 m) Night Refuge.
DAY 06: Journey
Pescado / Inca Huasi Islands to arrival San
Juan Village. Night Refuge.
DAY 07:
Trip
principal lagoons Cañapa, Hedionda, Chiarkhota,
Honda and Ramaditas, arrival to Colorada lagoon
(4.200 m). Night Refuge.
DAY 08:
Excursion
to the Sol de Mañana Geiser (4.800 m),
follows journey stopping to visit the Verde
lagoon (4.600 m). Then of the village of San
Pedro de Atacama (2.400 m). Night Hotel.
DAY 09: Excursion
to the Valley of the Moon. Night Hotel
DAY 10:
Visit
to the archaeological site of Pukara, then on
to the Tatio Geysers. Night Camping.
DAY 11:
Long journey on to the lower slopes of the San
Pablo Volcano (6.118 m). Night Camping.
DAY 12:
Journey
through the Ascotan Salt flat (3.966 m), to
pass the village of “Ollague”, arrive
to the unload station (4.000 m). Night Camping.
DAY 13:
Go
up with vehicle transport on to (5.800 m), and
ascent to the summit of the Aucanquilcha volcano
at (6.200 m), descent to the unload station,
Night Camping.
DAY 14: Long
journey through Ollague (3.695 m), arrive to
the village Jirira (3.900 m), camping nearby.
DAY 15:
Trip:
Jirira–lower slopes of Thunupa volcano
– Salina Garcy de Mendoza, arrive to the
Lake Popoo. Night Camping.
DAY 16:
Long return journey to La Paz. Night Hotel.
DAY 17:
Rest
and free day in La Paz. Night Hotel
DAY 18: Transfer
T–OUT hotel – airport to board your
flight and end of our services.
