SCHEDULE:
DAY
01: Departure
from La Paz by exclusive vehicle transport
to the village of San Juan de Chachacomani
4.000 m, journey approximately 4 hours by
4WD vehicle. Night camping.
DAY
02: Ascent
to the base camp 4.700 m, with assistance
of pack animals; activity 9 hours. Night camping.
DAY
03:
Rest day at the base camp. This day, the guide
must inspect to the glacier, intermediate
camp at 5.100 m. Night camping.
DAY
04: Ascent
to the high camp 5.100 m, with assistance
of high altitude porters; total activity 7
hours. Night camping.
DAY
05: Climb
to the summit of Mt. Chearoko 6.150 m, the
route is very demanding there are many cracks
that groups has to cros to the summit. After
descent back to the high camp, total activity
12 hours. Night camping.
DAY
06: Hike
up to Mt. Chachacomani high camp 5.500 m,
ascent 4 hour with out difficult on glacier
at night camping.
DAY
07: Climb
the summit of Mt. Chachacomani 6.350 m, for
long fields of snow with cracks we has to
cross until finding the edge to continue to
the summit and after descent and return to
the high camp, activity 10-11 hours. Night
camping.
DAY
08: Descent
to the base camp 4.700 m. Night camping.
DAY
09: Descent
to the village of San Juan de Chachacomani
with pack animals for about 6 hours. Then
picked up by vehicle transport for return
to La Paz to arrive at your hotel.
