Important.- This operations has similar characteristic to those of the Sajama National Park excursions and exploration to the pre-Columbian ruins of Iskanwaya, will be undertaken by foot.

HIGHLIGHTS:

Ulla - Ulla National Park lies 281 km. to the north-west of La Paz and is one of the largest natural reserve of Vicunas and other Cameloids. It is also a staying point of migrating birds. Our journey continues with a visit to Aukapata (2600 m), a small village, constructed in the Old Spanish style.

A fascinating place to visit, as we continue our trip, are the pre-Columbian ruins of Iskanwaya at 1.700 m, which belong to the Mollo Culture. Their city was at the top of the cliff between the Tiwanaku and Inca times, and has been called "The night Living City" by archaeologist- These admirable ruins feature a perfect water distribution center, the ruins are surrounded by other archaeological remains such as Mamakhoru, khari, Pukanwaya, Pukarhilla and Palla Yunga, which can by visited as well.

SCHEDULE:
DAY 01: Departure by exclusive vehicle transports a 4x4-land cruiser to the Ulla Ulla National Park (4.200 m), journey approximately 9 hours. Night camping.
DAY 02:. MORNING: Exploration of the Ulla Ulla National Park to see various kinds of animals such as vicuñas birds, etc AFTERNOON: Journey to the village of Aukapata (2.600 m). Night camping.
DAY 03 – 04: Visit to pre–columbiam archaeological site of the Iskanwaya ruins (1.700 m). Night camping.
DAY 05: Long return trip to La Paz to arrive at your hotel and end of our service.
