TOUR AND MOON VALLEY (4 hours) |

We
pick the clients up from their hotel for a complete
tour of approximately 4 hours, starting with a
visit to the Witches Market (Mercado de Brujas)
as well as the Handicrafts market, the San Francisco
Basilica, Murillo Square, the Government Palace,
the Parlament and the Cathedral. The Jaen Street,
Casa de Murillo museum, full of beautiful art
works and colonial furniture and Gold Museum,
Monolith square in Miraflores, residential areas
such as Obrajes, Calacoto and Florida until Moon
Valley which is formed by strange rocks that have
been sculptured by natural erosion. |

EXCURSION TO THE PRE-COLUMBIAN RUINS
OF TIWANAKU (6 Hours) |

A
mysterious and legendary city on the shore of the
Screed Lake among all the pre-Columbian cities, Tiwanaku
(3.843 M. above sea level) is doubtless the one that
most jealously keeps its secret. An oldest American
Civilization (3.000 years old). Tiwanaku is also know
as the cradle of American men that flourished around
700 BC. at 72 km. from La Paz, our first stop is at
the small village of Laja (3.843 M Above sea level),
place in which the city of La Paz was founded in 1.548.
Tiwanaku, where we will able to admire the famous
"Puerta del sol". The temple of Kalasasaya
and it is anscient statues, as other enigmatic monuments
in there solitaries surroundings.

CHACALTAYA
SKI RESORT (Half Day) |
The
Chacaltaya ski resort at 5.400 m above sea
level. This is an excursion that will take
you to the highest ski resort in the world.
At only 36 km. From La Paz City with unpaved
zigzag route.
On a clear day Chacaltaya (5.350 m), it
is a gorgeous view point that offers a breath
taking view of the Royal Range with peaks
that rise to altitudes (6.000 m), over the
high plateau. Lake Titikaka and Occidental
Range (Sajama and Payachatas).
This also the of the Cosmic Physic Laboratory.
NOTE: This is a good place
for people who need acclimatisation.

LAKE TITICACA AND SURIKI ISLAND
(7 Hours) |
|
|
We
will journey 2 hours to the village of Huatajata
(3.810 m above sea level), at 82 km. on
paved road up to Huatajata where we will
board small boats for rent on the Lake Titicaca
(45 minutes) towards to Suriqui Island,
native place to the Totora (Reed) boat craftsmen.
Home of the men who built the craft for
the Thor Heyerdal expeditions. We will then
return to La Paz.

COPACABANA
VILLAGE AND SUN ISLAND (2 Days) |
A
4 1/2 hours journey by vehicular transport to
the village of Copacabana (3.810 m above sea
level), we will take us to the most important
Sanctuary in the department a place where the
Catholic and Aymara religions meet. "The
Candelarian Virgin", who is very well known
for the miracles. It is a pilgrims centre which
people come from all over Bolivia, many pilgrims
make their trip by foot from La Paz to show
their faith, same as places of Peru. Copacabana
is not only a shrine, it contains the remains
of cultures dating back before the Spanish influence
in America.
In
the first day of our journey includes a visit
to visit to the Sanctuary of Copacabana the
typical Indian Market and the Pre-Columbian
ruins of Intikala and La Orca del Inca. We will
spend the night at the hotel and the next day
we will take an excursion to: Sun Island: according
to the legend the Inca Empire began on this
land. The Inca couple Manco Kapac and Mama Ojllo
appeared here and founded the Sun Empire Supporting
this legend there are remains of a large temple
and the Inca water spring which is supposed
to be a source of eternal youth. Finally Visiting
the ruins of Yumani, we will return to La Paz,
to your hotel and end the service.

TROPICAL NORTH YUNGAS - COROICO
VILLAGE (2 Days) |

Coroico
(1.700 m above sea level), is a tropical small
town where the controversial Coca leaf is grown
as well as tropical plants and fruits such as
citrus fruit, coffee and bananas.
You
will undoubtedly enjoy the changing landscapes
along the way from the high pass "La Cumbre"
(4.800 m). The trip goes through Bolivia is diverse
geological scenery in about 3 hours, crossing
a mountain range of enormous masses of stone mountains
are covered with a variety of vegetation arriving
at Coroico. |

SOUTH YUNGAS - CHULUMANI VILLAGE (3 Days) |

Sud Yungas, Here the climate is pleasant. Citrus
fruits are the main product from this area is

temperature rises to a tropical heat; the vegetation
is more abundant and there are tall trees.
From
Chulumani to the Apa Apa forest to move for
a really nice half day excursion. Where you

NIGHT CITY TOURS - PEÑA SHOW

is a wonderful tour in La Paz City at night.
We will begin with a visit to the Plaza Murillo,
to see such buildings as the Government Palace,
the Congress and the Cathedral. From there
we will ascend to the watch - tower of Killi
Killi one of the most beautiful places in
La Paz, crossing the "Puente de las Americas"
bridge from which you will enjoy the beauty
of La Paz by night, then stopover at the Montículo
square from there we will introduce to La
Paz down, we will finish our tour in a Peña
(a traditional place to have dinner while
enjoying Bolivian Folkloric music and dances).

GREAT PALCA CANYON - ANIMAS VALLEY
(Half Day) |
This
programs takes us to some truly magnificent
landscapes, at 45 minutes from La Paz by vehicular
transport is Animas Valley located. These
are a series of strange rock formations produced
by the effect of rainwater or alluvial deposits.
In several places the are majestic obelisk
and fanciful formations such as the magnificent
"Las Animas" (the Souls). At this
point, passengers are able to admire the snow-capped
Illimani Mountain (6.462 m), and hike through
splendid hills. This excursion has two hours
of trek or crossing all the Paica Canyon descending
to (3400 m). And by vehicle return. This is
recommended for trekkers or mountaineers (Box
lunch included).

EXCURSION TO SORATA (2 Days) |

Located
at 150 km. from La Paz at 2.695 m above
sea level. Giving appreciable relief, Sorata
is a valley in the high plateau at the foot
of Illampu Mountain second highest peak
in Bolivia.
This
area has many places to visit an different
ways to make an excursion such as mountain
climbing, cave exploring in San Pedro Cave
(with lake inside). This excursion has a
small trekking and many alternatives, offering
lovely views.

SAJAMA HIGH PLATEAU BUS OR BY 4WD
(2 Days) |

A
visit to the wonderful Sajama National Park
(4.200 M above sea level), located 350 km. to
the south of La Paz city, by a paved route until
to the entrance of the Sajama town on the Chilean
border. It is the site of natural wonders and
old typical Bolivia's high plateau churches
and also its deeply Apocalypse (see inside).
The park is, of course, best know for its outstanding
natural beauty and wildlife, being a reserve
for various species of endangered animals including
Vicuna and extremely rare Andean Ostrich as
welt flocks of flamingos, geese and ducks.
This plan also includes to the vast "City
of Stone" [Kala Koto), solaced for the
countless figures produced by volcanic action
and erosion giving the eerie feeling of walking
through a city of streets and plazas inhabited
by petrified tigers, elephants, and countless
other figures. We shall also visit the Tomarape
valley which is at the confluence of many rivers
and streams and forms a perfect grazing site
for llamas and alpacas which congregate there
in abundance along with approximately sixty
species of colourful birds and abundant thermal
spring, forest of the Kenuas and Yaretas at
(4400 at 4700 m above sea level). |

PUYA RAIMONDI COMANCHE (1 Day) |

Comanche
Village located at southwest from La Paz, on the iron
line La Paz -Arica. Where the Puya Raimondi unroll in
the quarry of this place. This plant has an altitude
of 12 M and its development is about a century growing
on the stony ground in a determined place of the high
plateau. In the third period flourishing the Puya Raimondi
bums its self slowly until become ashes.

WONDERFUL TRIP AROUND ILLIMANI MTBY

majestic Illimani (6.462 m), is by far the most famous
mountain in Bolivia Those familiar with La Paz know
that It's this peak that dominates thesoutheastern.
Sky
line on clear days. Illimani is located at 72 km. from
La Paz. You will have the opportunity to get to the
Illimani mountain in one-day excursion by Coni way taking
nice pictures from the place.
